We still have a few months to go before the fifth and final season of Broad City premieres, but Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, saints that they are, have gifted us with a little nugget of goodness today.
In a new “Hack into Broad City” video, the two are practicing their Russian to be “prepared for this new sci-fi world we live in where the rules change on the daily.” Included on their Russian flash cards are phrases such as “yes” and “no,” “I am a powerful woman,” and “Would you like me to urinate on you, strong man?”
Ilana’s Russian is quite impressive (“I’m a Russian Jew, it’s in my blood!”), but it shines the best when asking the all too important question, “May I please have five latkes and a cup of borscht?”
