Kira Carleton (she/they) is a third generation Brooklyn Jew transplanted to Manhattan for her master's degree at NYU Steinhardt. Her research focuses on fashion sustainability and environmental education, and outside of her coursework she works in the wardrobe department at NYU Tisch and as a multi-media fiber artist.
