With 36.8 million followers on TikTok, and another 11.5 million on Instagram, influencer Baby Ariel clearly has a lot of peoples’ attention. Her social media is a combination of lip syncs, selfies, lifestyle content and announcements about her career. In addition to influencing, she’s an actress and singer-songwriter. And she’s extremely proud of her Jewish heritage.

1. Ariel Rebecca Martin, aka Baby Ariel, was born on Nov. 22, 2000 in Florida.

8. She wasn’t looking to get famous via social media, however.

“When I first started musical.ly, it wasn’t with the intention of getting big or famous — I was just making fun videos to share with my friends,” she told GRAZIA USA. But when it blew up, we realized as a family that it was an opportunity to open doors to the things that I really loved like acting and music.

9. Ariel started recording her own music and released her debut single “Aww” in December 2017.

10. In 2017, Ariel was named one of the 25 most influential people on the internet by TIME Magazine.

11. She won two Teen Choice Awards, both in the Choice Muser Category, in 2016 and 2017. (The category was for teens’ favorite musical.ly creator.)

12. Her debut EP “blue” came out in 2021. She wrote it and recorded completely during COVID isolation.

She has been in numerous Disney Channel and Nickelodeon productions, including “Bizardvaark,” “Henry Danger,” “Disney Fam Jam,” “Zombies 2” and “Zombies 3.” In the latter two movies, she starred alongside fellow Jewish actor and influencer Milo Manheim. “most of all, especially now, i promise to stand up for israel with all of me, just like you would have done,” she wrote in an Instagram post commemorating her Safta, who passed away in November 2023.

17. She starred in “Suncoast” in 2024 alongside Laura Linney, Woody Harrelson and Nico Parker. The movie is a coming-of-age story about a young girl in the early 2000s, dealing with family conflict and struggle at the same time that she begins an unconventional friendship.
