Are you a Jewish college student who is interested in digital media, journalism, publicity, or marketing? We’re looking for a group of self-identifying women and non-binary undergraduate college students with chutzpah to join our team for the year as Alma Ambassadors. All levels of religious observance/non-observance are welcome to apply (i.e. it’s okay if you haven’t thought about being Jewish since your bat mitzvah, or if you never even had a bat mitzvah).

This will be a remote program (obvs, you’re at school), where you’ll be in regular contact with our editorial team. As an Alma Ambassador, you’ll help get the word out about Alma, share stories on social media, be part of a sounding board for the Alma editorial team, and connect with other Jewish college students in a warm, supportive environment. And, if you’re interested, you would have the opportunity to pitch and write for Alma! Take a look at all the wonderful pieces last year’s cohort of Ambassadors wrote for us here.

Some #feelings from our 2018-2019 Alma Ambassadors:

“I liked being able to explore my ideas, start a larger dialogue, meet new people, create connections, and get experience on pitching and writing overall.”

“It was a really cool, low-stakes way of becoming involved with the larger world of Jewish media. I feel more confident going forward as a writer and as a storyteller. Also, as I have gone through the hunt for jobs, I have found that having written articles for Alma looks super good on a resume and has been a good way for potential employers to get to know me outside of just my cover letter and interview.”

“I loved the instant community and diverse woman that made up the group! As of now it was the only group of Jewish women in my life that were around my age that I could regularly communicate with.”

To apply, just fill out this form by August 27 and we’ll get back to you by the end of August!

**This is a non-paid position for the 2019-20 school year, but you will be paid for any articles you write**
