Everything To Know About Jewish Musician Este Haim’s Wedding

The oldest Haim sister married businessman Jonathan Levin on New Year's Eve!

Jewish musician Este Haim, the eldest Haim sister, rang in 2026 in the sweetest way possible: marrying her fiancé Jonathan “Johnny” Levin! Este, 39, announced her engagement to the tech businessman last Valentine’s Day via an Instagram post featuring her engagement ring and a t-shirt reading “I’M TAKEN.” The pair met on a blind date to Pioneer Works in Brooklyn. Johnny proposed to Este on December 22, 2024 during a hike in Los Angeles.

But if the couple has been relatively private about their relationship, they’ve been even more so about the wedding. In between the engagement announcement and a Vogue feature published after the ceremony, neither Este or Johnny commented publicly about their nuptials.

Even so, here’s everything we know about it:

Este and Johnny were married on December 31, 2025 at Hotel El Roblar in California in a New Year’s Eve wedding. The bride wore a voluminous bespoke Louis Vuitton ball gown, designed by Nicolas Ghesquière. The wedding dress was completed by a long-sleeve white jacket with a high neckline and puffy sleeves. For dinner, Este donned a second Ghesquière-designed dress. This one was lacy, with a long removable skirt, giving the garment the ability to be transformed into an even shorter party dress.

The bride’s sisters, Alana and Danielle Haim, wore pale blue Louis Vuitton bridesmaids gowns with elegantly draped ruching at the midriff. “We’re Este’s something blue,” Alana told Vogue at the final fitting. “And kind of my something borrowed,” Este added.

The wedding guest list also included friend of Haim Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks, who were photographed at the venue by paparazzi. “I’m looking forward to seeing my entire family together, for the first time in a long time,” Este also said of the wedding.

Though it’s unclear if the wedding included traditional Jewish elements — Johnny is also Jewish — paparazzi captured photos of some guests wearing white kippot.

The next day, guests were treated to a 16-hour movie marathon at the Ojai Playhouse, curated by director Paul Thomas Anderson. The program included screenings of “Repo Man” at 9 a.m., “Casablanca” at 11 a.m., “Barry Lyndon” at 1:30 p.m., “Casino” at 5 p.m., “The Birdcage” at 8:30 p.m. and finally, “Father of the Bride” at 11 p.m. Those reportedly in attendance at the film fest include Maya Rudolph and PTA, Kesha, Jason Segel and Donald Glover.

Mazel tov, Este and Johnny!
