Happy Hanukkah!

The Festival of Lights is finally here and we’re so excited to eat latkes, play dreidel, spend time with friends and of course, light our menorahs. The only thing that could make this holiday even better? Spending time with our Hey Alma community.

If you feel the same way, you’re in luck. Rabbi Emily Cohen will be leading a virtual candle lighting next week on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 8pm EST / 5pm PST. We’ll come together to say prayers, light our candles and send hope for peace into the universe. We can’t wait to see you there.

A Humble Request:
Hey Alma's content is free because we believe everybody deserves to be a part of our radically inclusive Jewish community. Reader donations help us do that. Will you give what you can to keep Hey Alma open to all? (It's a mitzvah, ya know.)

Tuesday, December 12, 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT on Zoom.

Rabbi Emily Cohen is a rabbi, artist and the leader of West End Synagogue in Manhattan. She lives in Brooklyn with her partner and the world’s best cat. She’s also a regular contributor to Hey Alma — you can read her articles here.
