You might recognize Skyler Gisondo as that one freckly kid from “Booksmart” whose name always escapes you, or maybe from the viral tweets of his unassuming red carpet smile. Regardless, he’s got an impressive resumé! At just 27 years old, the actor’s been in everything from “Air Buds” to “Licorice Pizza.”

He’s been acting since he was a kid, but how much do you really know about the LA-based Jewish actor?

1. Skyler Augustus Gisondo was born on July 22nd, 1996 in Palm Beach, Florida to a Jewish family.

2. His parents are both ocean engineers! We’re not quite sure what that means, but how cool!

4. His Italian last name comes from his paternal grandfather who was Italian-American, meaning he has Catholic and Jewish heritage.
