Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez Did the Hora at Their Wedding

Mazel tov to the happy couple!

Was Selena Gomez and Benny’s Blanco’s wedding hotter than the bluest flame? All signs are pointing to yes.

The 33-year-old “Only Murders in the Building” star and the 37-year-old Jewish music producer were married this past Saturday in a star-studded ceremony and reception in Santa Barbara. The couple both wore Jewish designer Ralph Lauren. The guest list included Taylor Swift, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Rudd, Eric André, Ed Sheeran, Paris Hilton, SZA, Cara Delevingne, Camila Cabello, Finneas, Zoe Saldaña and more. Mark Ronson DJed the reception.

“i married a real-life disney princess,” Blanco shared on Instagram, along with some photos of the day. The last photo in Benny’s carousel features an image of the altar, with what appears to be a flowery chuppah.

While the couple haven’t shared wedding details beyond their Instagram posts, Benny and Selena laid out a few of their plans this past February. “Of course we will,” Benny responded when Interview Magazine editor Mel Ottenberg asked if they’d be doing the hora at their wedding. (Old Jewish Men on Instagram confirmed a hora occurred via a photo of performer Dani Luv and Benny Blanco at the wedding. “OJM client Dani Luv with newlywed Benny Blanco post hora,” OJM shared.) In the same Interview interview, Selena said that she wouldn’t be converting to Judaism.

“We want our kids to have both of our values, both of our morals, and hopefully when we mix them up in a pot they’ll [turn out well],” Benny said.

Later, in May, Benny admitted that the couple hadn’t figured out “anything” to do with their wedding yet. “The only thing I’ve said straight up, as a part of the food, is that I want [Jewish cook and food writer] Jake [Cohen] to do the challah,” Benny said on the Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware podcast. “He makes the best challah I’ve ever had.”

Mazel tov, Benny and Selena! May you enjoy all the happiness of marriage — while we anxiously await more details of your nuptials.
