BFFs, actors, singers, musical theater stars, former Evan Hansens, and all-around mensches Ben Platt and Noah Galvin are now dating.
On episode 196 of the podcast Little Known Facts with Ilana Levine, Noah Galvin shared the news. “I’m just gonna—” he says, then does the audible version of “af;lkdjsf” — “Ben and I are dating,” Noah laughs. “I asked him this morning, I was like, are we allowed to talk about this? And he’s like, ‘Don’t go into our nitty gritty, but yeah, people can know.’ It’s still relatively new.” Noah and the host go on to talk about how two other actors who have played the titular role in the Tony award-winning musical Dear Even Hansen are also dating — Taylor Trensch and Ben Levi Ross. Noah says, “It’s so incenstuous. But, it makes sense. We all went through the war together. We all feel very connected.”
Actress Molly Gordon initially introduced Beanie Feldstein and Ben Platt (who grew up together) to Noah, and, well, the rest is history. And by that, I mean they’re all best friends now and do ideal group costumes such as:
On the podcast, Noah talks about his birthday, which was last week on May 6 (he turned 26), and how Ben, also 26, is already winning the best boyfriend award for his gift. “Long story short… Ben, very sweetly, for the past three months has been putting together this birthday video for me, and it’s all my favorite drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race and beyond. And then, all my friends in drag. Everybody wishing me a happy birthday.” (Release the video!)
